Learn to create a professional YouTube end screen in Adobe Premiere. Video guide included.
Hello friends at Marieú Technology Corporation, how do you design a YouTube end screen? Indeed, in this step-by-step guide, you will learn to download the template from Envato Elements, install fonts, create a project, import a template, change the resolution, edit texts and colors, and export in Adobe Premiere. 🧩🎨
Adobe Premiere is a video editing program, developed by the Adobe Systems company. Among some benefits, it has compatibility with other applications, allows you to apply audio effects, transitions, video effects, and more. The Adobe company offers different plans, focused on businesses, personal, or academic use.
We are going to use three tools: Envato Elements, where we will get the template; Adobe Premiere, to create the project. We are going to import the template that we obtained from Envato Elements and insert it into our timeline. We will edit it, add some texts for our Marieú Corp. social media, place some colors, and finally, export the project.
On the Creative Cloud Desktop side, we are going to set up some fonts that already come with this template, and finally, we will update the Adobe Premiere application.

We are inside Envato Elements, and we have the Flatmotion portfolio. It has gradient colors. Internally, each one can come with up to four or five end screens, with different designs. We are going to stick with this one—it has a gradient color, the compatible application is Adobe Premiere, and it comes with a total of four fully editable templates. We are going to download it. Once downloaded, we are going to unzip it, and internally we have the following files: there is a 2018 file, another 2019 file, and a notepad with a PDF file.
Where can we find the font for the template? In the notepad. If we open it, here we have the font, the link to the font. How do we install this font in Adobe Premiere? We simply copy the link and paste it here. It will direct us to the FreeFonts.net page, where the entire Trade Gothic family is already included. We go to the bottom part and download it.
Here we have it; it is in a .zip format. We are going to unzip it and open the folder. Internally, we get some images in .PNG format, there it is!, in the case of numbers or characters. To install, we simply identify the .OTF files, which we have here, which are font files.
We go to Adobe Creative Cloud, click “Add Fonts,” and click “Uploaded Fonts.” Here we are going to “Add More,” and from the downloaded folder, we simply select the .OTF files, drag and drop. In our case, we have already installed it, so a duplicate font appears. You just need to select the checklist for necessary rights and licenses and click “Add.” It will appear like this, with an “Installed” tag.
We are going to opt for the 2019 folder, and there we have all the YouTube end screens in .mogrt format. To apply them within the project, we have to create a new project in Adobe Premiere. We click “New Project” and enter the project name. We are going to put “Marieú End Screens.” We change the project location, click “Choose Location.” Remember to assign a name, we put “Marieú End Screens” and save, select the folder, and done! We are going to click “Create.”
We have already created the project. Now we are going to import the template. To import, we must enable the “Essential Graphics” section. This section is enabled only when we activate the “Essential Graphics” option within the window. Once activated, within Essential Graphics, we click “Browse,” and within Browse, the local templates will be enabled. We are going to add a new folder. Of the two folders that we receive, we are opting for the 2019 folder. We select it and click the “Select Folder” button.
With that, we have already imported it into Adobe Premiere. We are going to verify it. We deploy the “Local Templates” option. We will disable all of them and stick with the 2019 one. And we have it here. We select it and close the local templates option, there it is. So, here we see that they are already imported; we have a total of four YouTube end screens within Adobe Premiere.
Remember that, in this case, to apply them within our project, we have to create a sequence. For that, we are going to import an image. So, we have the image folder. We are simply going to import our Marieú Corp. logo. We select it, drag and drop it into the project panel.
Once here, we already have the image. We are going to move it to the timeline. We select it, drag and drop it onto the timeline. So, now we can apply these YouTube end screens.
Since we installed the fonts in an initial stage, we no longer get a font error when importing these end screens. We select any one, drag and drop it as well, and drop it onto this timeline.
Remember that the measurements of these end screens have a resolution of 1920×1080. To frame it with these dimensions, we are going to make changes within the sequence. “Sequence Settings.” We are going to place the resolution of these end screens: 1920×1080. Some recommended frames: 60 frames per second so that the animations within these end screens do not look choppy. We change the preview format. Since we use QuickTime a lot for Mac systems, we are going to change it to MPEG I-Frame Only, click “Accept.”
An alert notifies us that all preview files will be deleted to generate another one, with the same dimensions as these end screens. We click “Accept.” And, if we move the sequence from V1 to V3 here, we will be able to see the logo. We simply delete it; it is no longer necessary to use it now, and we are left only with the final screen, there it is!
When we select this YouTube end screen, it is displayed on the left side, in the “Edit” option. We can make changes to the text. So, we are going to change it. We are going to put “Subscribe,” and we see how the changes are generated on the left hand. In fact, we can also change the font, the style, or perhaps the font family; we can make the change. We are going to put in text 3: “Next Video.” For “Follow Me,” we are going to put “Follow Us” and below, “On Social Media.”
If we play it and stop at 50% of this end screen, we already have the three social networks that will be displayed. So, here we are going to put “Marieú Technology Corporation,” and we are going to reduce the size a bit, with the aim that the entire name or the “nickname” can be displayed.
After changing the social media names, we have the colors. The colors within the background, at the social media level, the colors of the shapes. If we select the color of Shape 1, we will be able to notice the changes here. We put a green color, click “Accept,” and there we notice the change. If you do not agree with that initial gradient color, we can make the changes in this section; we are going to leave it by default.
Regarding the images that we would include here, our company logo, we recommend doing it directly within YouTube. It gives you the option to include an image, it gives you the option to place a small thumbnail of the next video that will appear. So, to export it, it is not necessary to include the images within these sections, the circular section and the rectangular section.

We are going to go to Export. We change the location and put the name “Marieú End Screen” and click “Save.” Automatically, the name and location are changing. Some recommended preset settings: we select 1080p HD.
If we do not find it within this list, we click “More Presets” and put “YouTube 1080” here, there it is! We select it, click “Accept,” and choose 1080. We select the entire range, and it already comes with all those preset configurations that YouTube offers us. We select the range “Entire Source,” where it will export the entire time that this end screen entails.
Finally, we click “Export,” and here we have the final results: subscribe to this channel, follow us on social media, and the next video. Done, thanks friends at Marieú Technology Corporation! Marieú Technology Corporation!
