Elementor is a web page builder. It allows you to create and design web pages using predefined templates, widgets, or blocks. The Elementor plugin is installed via WordPress, where you will find a free version and a paid version, the latter offering more widgets and templates.

Real Favicon Generator is a web platform that allows you to convert your image or logo into a ZIP file. After downloading it, this folder contains .PNG, .SVG, and .ICO files, which are useful for adapting your logo to different operating systems.

So, we are going to use a total of four applications: WordPress, Elementor, Google Search Console for indexing, and Real Favicon Generator for method 2. Remember that Google Search Console allows us to index our website with the Google search engine. That is, if we have, say, five products, five services, and a customer goes to Google and enters the characteristics of your product, through SEO, you can appear in the searches.

In an initial stage, if we have not configured it well, a “world” icon will appear. If we configure it correctly, and include an icon that Google can identify through indexing, it will appear like this afterward. It is a before-and-after; we have the results after indexing. And this is very important because it generates a little more confidence for the client when they enter and can see your website. So, some steps that we are going to develop will be the following. Before using any of these two methods, which we are going to provide, we must have two images with different dimensions. And, for the second one, 512 by 512, which is a square dimension for the Favicon. We have the following model—there it is! It can have borders, no problem, or it can have pointed corners; it will depend on each one of you and how you want your logo to be represented within the Google search engine.

So, we have a total of two methods for the indexing with Google Search Console to work and to fix the company logo not showing in google search results problem. The first method is within the Elementor builder, where we are going to open the page with the Elementor editor. In this case, it is recommended that it be a main page or the “Home.”

Number two, in the Elementor editor, first, we are going to locate “Site Settings.” Internally, in “Site Settings,” the “Site Identity” will appear for us. Being within this identity, we are going to upload the two images, just as they are. The first with those dimensions and the second with the square dimensions. After uploading the two images, we save the changes and update.

Method number two, manually: we enter the Hosting, File Manager, and enter the following path. We enter the wp-content/themes files and enter the folder of your selected theme. Then, we are going to see a file called “header,” header.php. Within the .php file, we are going to paste the code generated by Real Favicon Generator. Finally, we save the changes, and done.

The code from Real Favicon Generator will be something similar to this. Obviously, in the href, we have to change it to our website. Where it says “website.com,” it would be each one’s domain.

So, here we are in WordPress. We are going to enter Pages, and we are going to enter the main page, saved as “Principal.” We click “Edit with Elementor,” and when the Elementor builder is ready within the main page, we are going to go here. We click “Site Settings,” and we locate “Site Identity.” So, this is where we are going to enter, in our initial stage, the site name. We enter the company’s legal name, and for the site description, you can put some representative phrase.

We have placed a representative phrase of Marieú, but you can place some detail of your product or service that you are offering. Then, after that, comes the logos. Site Logo and Site Favicon. So, here we are going to put the first image; it has the measures of 350 by 100, already mentioned in an initial stage. We select it and insert it. We click “Upload Files,” and here we are going to select a file from our desktop.

Once you have selected your image, you will simply click Save, and there it is! Something similar with the Site Favicon. You can load them from here, with this option, or you can drag and drop them from your folder. For example, if you have the image, we select and drag it. Once you have it, remember to update. We update the changes, and done.

So, having reached this point, we recommend the following: the logo in the header, which we find here, must always be included as a link. That is, integrate the logo and insert it as a link. How can we insert it with a link? In the following way. We are going to edit the header. Remember that we transferred the header to the shortcode in a previous video. So, we are going to open the template that contains the header.

So, this is the template that contains the header, and we already have all parts of the header. We have all the columns, the image that corresponds to the company logo image. We have inserted the image—this is the image—and the text is at the bottom. We have the logo as an image and the text at the bottom. Some recommended dimensions: 300 by 229 pixels. We also see the icon, how it is displayed on the home screen of an iOS system, for the Android system, for Windows, for macOS, among others.

Finally, we are going to click “Generate your Favicons and HTML code,” and we download it. Once the Favicon installation has finished configuring, we are going to download the Favicon package; we have it here. It downloads as a ZIP. If we open the ZIP, all the files will be found, at the Android, Apple Favicon level, among others. You will find different PNG files, so that each device recognizes them.

To insert it into the header, we copy the entire code and paste it here, into the header. Always remember to include a comment. We are going to put “Code for Favicon”—there it is! Remember to save the changes, and also, we are going to do the following. We have the ZIP. We are going to extract it into the root of our website. We are going to go here, and we are going to go to public_html. Within public_html, we are going to place the entire “Favicon package” file. We have the file here. We select, drag, and drop.

Once we have it here, we are going to extract it. Right-click and select “Extract.” We put any name; we are going to name it “Favicon” and click “Extract.” We have it here. Remember that it is within the public_html file or location. It is a public view so that the client can also see it. We open the Favicon; there they are all. We select all, copy “Ctrl + C,” and we are going to paste it here.

We are going to extract them all. In our case, we already have it; we have already extracted it there. We are going to delete it. We are also going to delete the ZIP—done! So, once here, we simply perform the “Test,” which is the same Favicon Checker test.

After saving the changes within the File Manager, we are going to validate it, to see if all the icons are correctly installed. We enter our URL and click “Check Favicon.” And done, friends!
